Founding President Prof Dr. Khaliq Ahmad led a team of academicians, practitioners and PhD students who are members of ICIFE to attend a 5-days (21st-25th March) industry driven HRDF Certified Train the Trainer program held at IIiBF. This HRDF intensive training was conducted by Sis Siti Sahlah Ibrahim, Senior Consultant from CEDR Corporate Consulting. The emphasis of this program is to exchange ideas, expertise, experience related to industry and corporate training.
Among ICIFE senior members who participated in this focused training were Prof Dr. Maliah Sulaiman, Dean of IIUM Kulliyyah Economics and Management Sciences, Prof Dr. Mohamed Aslam Haneff, Director – Center of Islamic Economics, Dr. Rusni Hassan, Dr. Mustafa Omar Mohamed, Dr. Dzuljastri Abdul Razak, Dr. Hamdino Hamdan and Dr. Adam Abdullah. Banker Asmoni Talib, Consultant Azman Ismail and Manager Bahavdeen blended the practitioner inputs.
International Members who also participated namely: Br. Anwar Chowdhury (Bangladesh), Sister Irum Saba (Pakistan), Br. Aleem Siddique Guiapal and Br. Ali Mamailao (Philippines). They will be facilitating ICIFE Continuous Education Programs (CEP) modular programs in their countries.
The opening of TTT was graced by Puan Hajah Morni Bujang, Director of Product & Employers Registration, Human Resource Development Fund (HRDF). Whereas closing ceremony officiated by Prof Dr. Abdelaziz Berghout, Deputy Rector of Internationalization & Industry and Community Relations, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and certificates presentation by Sis Penny Chong,Head of L&D – Lions Group and Principal Consultant of CEDR Corporate Consulting.
In a nutshell, alumni of TTT concurred there are many different theories of how people learn. What follows is a variety of them, and it is very useful to consider their application to how our students learn and also how we teach in educational programs. It is interesting to think about our own particular way of learning and to recognize that everyone does not learn the way we do.
