ICIFE Certificate on Takaful for Educators Programme (ICTEP) is fully sponsored by FWD Takaful Berhad. The programme aims to provide training to Islamic finance educators on Takaful in order for Universities to produce graduates that will be equipped with the knowledge in Takaful that relevant to the Takaful industry. The duration of the programme is 14 month which is from January 2022 until February 2023. The programme will be attended by lecturers whose nominated by their Universities. The trainers are from industry practitioners and academicians.

- Fundamentals of Shariah for Takaful
- Principles and Practices of General Takaful
- Principles and Practices of Family Takaful
- Principles and Practices of Retakaful
- Shariah Regulatory Requirement and Governance Framework
- Accounting and Reporting for Takaful Operators
- Development, Issues and Challenges of the Takaful Industry
At the end of the programme, the participants are expected to be able to:
- Explain the fundamental principles of Shariah for Takaful
- Explain the principles and practices of General Takaful
- Explain the principles and practices of Family Takaful
- Explain the principles and practices of Retakaful
- Evaluate the Shariah Regulatory requirements and Shariah governance framework governing the Takaful industry in Malaysia
- Discuss accounting and reporting issues on Takaful including the issue of surplus distribution and Qard arrangement
- Analyse the development, issues and challenges impacting the Takaful industry
